Dr. Marissa Huang

Dr. Marissa Huang received her Bachelor of Science in Honours Health Studies with a minor in gerontology at the University of Waterloo, after which she stayed in Waterloo to complete her Doctor of Optometry Degree, graduating on the Dean’s Honour List in 2020.

During her clinical rotations, she had the opportunity to complete externships at Lasik MD in Toronto, the Cooweescoowee Health Centre in Oklahoma, and even Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She also participated on a VOSH mission trip to Moldova.

Dr. Huang is a member of both the College of Optometrists of Ontario and the Ontario Association of Optometrists. She has many areas of interest in optometry including myopia control, dry eye management and laser vision correction. In addition to English, Dr. Huang is fluent in Cantonese. In her spare time, you can find her doing many different arts and craft projects.
